Gangtok, Apr 14 (IPR): A total of 620 government employees engaged in election duty exercised their voting rights in Gangtok district, today.
72 Officials other than Polling personnel cast their postal ballots at GMC Futsal Arena in Deorali (FC II).
Likewise, 548 individuals from Police Headquarter participated in the voting process at Paljor Stadium (FC III).
This takes the cumulative number of votes over the six days in Gangtok district to 4716.
It is important to note that the postal ballot voting has been extended for another day i.e., April 15th till 6 pm in order to accommodate left-out voters across different categories who have missed their allocated voting dates.
